Black Stallion BBQ Adventure Ride:

We offer a unique authentic Guanacaste experience, that's not just beautiful, but also real fun & delicious! Our Sabanero Ranch Style evening starts at 3pm with horses all saddled up ready for you're adventure ride into untouched nature. See families of monkeys, wild iguanas, birds, hairs, squires, armadillos, creeks & some of the most amazing exotic trees. Your ride will be a relaxed two hours.

Once you have booked with us, we suggest you bring a hat, long pants, jeans, boots or shoes & the digital camera. As this is an Eco Horseback ride you will not forget. It's a perfect way to enjoy a Guanacaste Sunset with family & friends.

We specialize in doing groups or parties from 10 to 25 people in a group. This way it's more fun& we guarantee you a customized barbecue & salad that's prepared to perfection by our chef in our open air kitchen.

Barbecue & Salads:

Menu : Chorizo, Lomito, Beef, Pollo & Fish on request. Also served with garlic potato's & onions cooked in wood coals. All meat is from Costa Rica's best Don Fernandos.
Salads: The Guanacaste Green salad.
Breads : Freshly made Chapata Bread.

Rates: Children under 15 yrs are $ 60.00, Adults are $95.00 with dinner.

Amounts payable in advance. Alcohol Drinks are extra.

We do the Black Stallion BBQ every Friday evening. If you don't want to ride, you can also buy a BBQ dinner coupon for 2-3 people for $25.00 a head.
This includes sodas, beers, wine, delicious food & a fun party under the Guanacste stars.

We can do other evenings for special exclusive party/group requests with 12 - 15 people or more. Just contact us and ask!

We're right next door the five star Hacienda Pinilla,one of the finest Golf Clubs in the country, ear marked for several luxury hotel projects, with brand new tennis courts, club house & pool...etc. It may be a great idea to become a member, it's spectacular.

If your a keen surfer we have several world class surf spots in the area from perfect longboard style beach breaks like Playa Avellanas, to more high performance waves such as Playa Negro,Witches Rock & Tamarindo Beach itself, which gets very good. You are 5min.away from the Tamarindo Beach breaks which offer great waves from 3 ft to 6ft. But Playa Negra really delivers the goods. It's a world class break, the perfect reef setup, and when you're done surfing you can have a delicious breakfast overlooking the surf at Playa Negra Hotel.

Around the corner you have Playa Avellanas which is a fantastic beach break that serves up an endless supply of long board style " head dipping" waves in water as clear & as warm as the Caribbean. Also, Playa Grande is 10 min's away which is a right hand reef break that can get bigger & more high performance surfing. There are many waves in the area such as "Little Hawaii " on the high tide & many more that get as good as you can imagine.

Taking your boat for a sail from Tamarindo Bay is a perfect getaway experience. It's a calm ocean with excellent sailing conditions, with a dolphin cabaret show that must be seen to be believed. All the yachts & boats are anchored just off the beach at no charge, however, one can pay the "local guy" who watches the boats 24/7. Tamarindo is a fantastic sailing destination!

There's nothing like traveling through fresh air on a wire with monkeys howling at you while you fly by. It's totally safe & exhilarating at the same time. Kids love this Costa Rican activity & can't get enough of it (neither can the adults, last week a 92 year old grandpa was enjoying the ride!) The average cost per person is $35 for a one hour canopy tour experience, and it's well worth it!

Horseback riding & the" Ranchero Lifestyle "is part of the Costa Rica culture that needs to be preserved & maintained. The huge Black Stallion Hills valley is perfect horse country,which lends itself to horse activity including riding lessons. In the next two years we are planning to add paddocks, stables & horse trails throughout the property. This will add to the beauty & value of the project.

Deep Sea Sport Fishing of the Guanacaste coastline has been rated as " the best fishing on the planet". Boats leave from Tamarindo all the time, or if you'd like to go upmarket the new Four Seasons Hotel which is not far from us offers state of the art fishing trips with all the best boating equipment & catering.

Then of course there's hiking, mountain biking & jogging in the hills which will keep you in tip top shape. From an activities point of view its simply endless, in a nutshell Costa Rica is a playground that's affordable.
